This policy applies to the Crave Build website (cravebuild.com.au) and to BuilderOS Uploader, an internal tool operated by Crave Build.

If you contact us through the website, we collect the name, email address, phone number and project details you choose to give us. We use that information only to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to carry out the building work. We do not sell it, and we do not share it outside the professional consultants engaged on your project.
BuilderOS Uploader is a private, internal tool. It is used by Crave Build staff only, to publish Crave Build's own video content to Crave Build's own YouTube channel. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.
What it accesses. With the account owner's explicit consent, it requests permission to upload videos to, and manage videos on, that account's own YouTube channel.
What it does with that access. It uploads a video file from a local folder on the operator's computer, sets that video's title, description, tags and thumbnail, and sets its visibility to private so a person can review it before publishing. It performs no other action.
What it stores. An authorisation token is stored locally on the operator's computer so the tool does not need to ask for permission every time it runs. This token never leaves that computer. No video content, viewer data, channel analytics or any other Google user data is copied, retained, transmitted to any server, or shared with any third party.
Google Limited Use. BuilderOS Uploader's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access. The account owner can withdraw this permission at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately and permanently ends the tool's access. Deleting the locally stored token file has the same effect on that computer.
The website may use standard analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete these through your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the site.
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to answer the enquiry and, where a project proceeds, for the period required by Victorian building legislation and our insurers. After that they are deleted.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email build@cravebuild.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
